Digital cable TV uses broadband technology and offers an excellent choice in TV and radio channels.

The two main cable operators in the UK are Telewest Broadband and ntl:home. Both have now merged to become Virgin Media.

Kingston Communications (Hull)
WightCable (Isle of Wight)
WightCableNorth (North of Scotland)

As well as a great choice in TV channels, you can also receive a number of radio stations - subject to terms and conditions and the signing of a 12 month contract.

Many radio stations that broadcast on DAB digital radio also choose to broadcast on cable/digital TV. It is however, up to the individual radio station whether or not they choose to broadcast on digital TV as well as on DAB digital radio.
